Ambassadors – the Heart of the Chamber

Members benefit by interacting and networking with other business leaders who share common interests. Some people start by joining the Chamber's "Ambassadors" because it is the quickest way to meet current Chamber members, new members and to better understand how the Harlingen Area Chamber works

The Ambassador Club was organized in 1961 under the name Six Shooter Committee. As official chamber representatives, Ambassadors conduct ground breakings and ribbon cuttings, serve as greeters at Chamber mixers and other special events, and participate in membership drives and retention programs. For their participation in these events, Ambassadors receive a certain number of points. An Ambassador of the Year is chosen by the members and is honored at the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet
