About the Red Coat Ambassadors
The Red Coat Ambassadors are the welcoming faces of the Greater Chamber of Harlingen, easily recognized by their signature red coats at Chamber events. This group of dedicated volunteers proudly represents the Chamber while helping connect, celebrate, and support the local business community.
Red Coats play an important role in educating, engaging, and involving Chamber members in events, committees, and outreach efforts. Their presence brings energy, hospitality, and professionalism to every Chamber event they attend.
Monthly Committee Meetings
Ambassadors meet once a month in a casual, networking-friendly setting to stay updated on Chamber news and upcoming activities.
Ribbon Cuttings
Red Coats attend ribbon cutting ceremonies to welcome and celebrate new members, showing visible support for Harlingen’s growing business community.
Chamber Events
From luncheons to expos, Red Coats help greet guests, assist with networking, and ensure everyone feels connected and welcomed.
Becoming a Red Coat is more than volunteering; it’s a way to build relationships, gain visibility, and be an active part of something meaningful.
Because when you wear the red coat, you're part of why great things are happening at the Chamber.
