Greater Chamber of Harlingen Wins 1st Place for Media Excellence Across the State

The Greater Chamber of Harlingen proudly announces that it has been awarded 1st Place for Media Excellence in Division 2 at the 2025 Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Conference held in Denton, Texas. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding marketing and communications efforts among chambers across the state.
Alondra Sanchez-Proa, Director of Social Media and Marketing for the Greater Chamber of Harlingen, single-handedly submitted the award-winning social media and video entry. Alongside her was Javier De Leon, President and CEO of the Greater Chamber of Harlingen, as they both represented the Chamber at the TCCE Conference and the TCCE Excellence Awards Dinner on June 17th, 2025, where the Chamber was honored with this distinguished state award.
The award highlights the Chamber’s commitment to innovative and impactful media strategies that effectively promote the local business community and enhance engagement with members and stakeholders. Alondra manages the Chamber’s social media, podcasts, newsletters, and video productions with dedication and creativity.
